I’m Axel and I’m leading a team of Data Architects, Data Engineers and Data Analysts. We are on the lookout for a new colleague who wants to take their career to the next level while scaling a team of data engineers and analysts.

Your role with Us 
As part of the Data & AI Platform team, you'll find a culture that values open communication, teamwork, and collective growth. Your role will be to support, guide and collaborate with data engineers and analysts in their work. Furthermore, you’ll ensure that our pipelines are scalable, coherent and always value-adding. You will be part of a small group of data architects with the same mission across different teams.

Our technological landscape 
Our data solutions are built on Snowflake, data transformations are defined and orchestrated in dbt Cloud and BI is delivered through Qlik Cloud and Steep. Our stack runs fully in the cloud, where we make use of various technologies both on AWS and Azure – with Azure being our target platform by 2027.

How we work

The Data & AI platform is divided into multiple product lines, each developing data products for a specific part of the business. You will be supporting one product line with multiple scrum teams of data engineers and analysts. Our scrum teams work closely together and with their business stakeholders to build reliable, readable and maintainable solutions spanning from BI reporting to ML workflows to NRT operational use-cases. We prize individuals who are not just technically astute, but also proactive communicators, keen to understand the business, share insights and contribute to team discussions.

About you
We are seeking a person with experienced from designing, building and maintaining data pipelines in an enterprise environment. You have likely built proven data products yourself in a role as data engineer or similar and are enthusiastic about supporting others on the same journey. You recognize the fundamental shift AI tools are having on software and data development, and you are excited about this future.

We imagine your background includes 

• Multiple years’ experience in telecom or a similar industry, such as insurance or banking.
• Multiple years’ experience of writing and optimizing data models using SQL against cloud data warehouses in an enterprise setting.
• Experience of creating and maintaining dbt projects.
• Have worked with and/or experimented with AI tools in data pipeline development, exploratory analysis, etc.
• Experience of working with agile methodologies.
