In April 2024, Norlys acquired Telia Denmark, marking the beginning of an exciting telecom journey. In this role, you will actively contribute to the ongoing carve-out process from Telia Company and facilitate the integration into Norlys. This presents a unique opportunity to help build something new within the dynamic telecom landscape of Denmark.

Our mission is to connect customers through secure, reliable, and future-proof networks, and for that, we are seeking a Service Developer to join our Telco division in the Device, SIM & Network Services Design department. This role invites you to be part of one of Denmark’s most fascinating telecom journeys, working at the intersection of technology, security, and customer experience.

Advance connectivity design

As a Service Developer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining broadband services, ensuring secure lifecycle management of hardware, and supporting operations with troubleshooting and provisioning. You will work closely with Technical Product Management to transform business needs into technical requirements, while collaborating with CPE vendors and stakeholders to secure best-in-class solutions.

Your main responsibilities:

• Drive CPE testing, including QoS, forwarding, and customer-tailored solutions.
• Manage the lifecycle of hardware, including decommissioning and replacement.
• Develop and implement technical service solutions in collaboration with vendors.
• Define requirements for OSS stacks and ensure correct system configurations.
• Handle zero-touch provisioning and secure that templates are correctly managed.
• Support troubleshooting and error reporting, ensuring smooth vendor cooperation.
• Keep up to date with security standards and handle potential vulnerabilities.
• Educate stakeholders and provide documentation for new features.

Use your expertise for telecom excellence

To succeed in this position, you must be fluent in English, both spoken and written, and have the ability to work from a Norlys location a minimum of three days per week. You should possess strong coordination and communication skills, and be structured, proactive, and solution oriented. Being a team player with a collaborative mindset is essential for success in this role.

Qualities we are looking for:

• Solid understanding of routing protocols and redundant setups.
• Experience with test management and CPE/service validation.
• Knowledge of IP/MPLS technologies.
• Preferably CCNP certification or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

It is a prerequisite for employment that you can obtain security clearance with the FE and PET, and you must be able to maintain the security clearance throughout your employment.
