Join our 24/7 NOC Team
As a NOC Specialist at Norlys, you are invited to become part of the core of our network operations. You'll be joining a dedicated NOC team with 14 skilled colleagues, working together to monitor and ensure the operational security of our customer-facing network every day, year-round, 24/7. Our primary goal is to optimize network operations, ensuring that our customers always enjoy the best experience with Norlys' products.

You'll be involved in exciting tasks like quality assurance of tasks and process flows, managing critical infrastructure, and protecting the operational security of a large portion of the country's internet connections. This goes hand in hand with the daily management of our dynamic NOC, constantly evolving, and providing sparring and training plans for technical staff.

Daily Quality Assurance and Supervision
We are looking for a NOC Specialist at Norlys to take responsibility for daily quality assurance, from task management to team sparring. You will ensure and refine tasks in close collaboration with the team. Your expertise will be essential in reviewing and optimizing internal processes in collaboration across the organization. The role also involves being a support for team members in situations of uncertainty.

Your primary tasks will include:

• Reviewing and optimizing internal processes in collaboration with other departments
• Updating internal processes to meet current departmental requirements
• Daily supervision of network operations
• Responsibility for security, processes, and knowledge sharing within the team

Seeking a Technically Strong Candidate
We would like you to be technically competent in networking, and certifications would be an advantage, although not necessary. Additionally, experience in the telecommunications industry in a similar NOC function would be beneficial. However, experience from another emergency center or control center is also relevant, as experience is required.

Skills and competencies we are looking for:

• Preferably ITIL 4 foundation or similar qualification
• Technical competence in networking, ideally with certifications
• Excellent in feedback and learning, with an eye for human aspects

It is a prerequisite for employment that you can obtain security clearance by the Danish Defence Intelligence Service and the Danish Security and Intelligence Service and maintain it throughout your employment.
