Norlys Transport team is part of Telco Architecture & Planning where our ambition is to plan, design, and build a network today that caters for tomorrow’s needs.
In the Transport team, we are 8 skilled IP/MPLS, sync, and optical transport network architects with a strong team spirit. We are responsible for defining and ensuring cost-efficient, resilient, and future-proof network architecture through clear roadmaps and network rules. We handle vendors and evaluate and select systems and partners for all transport platforms. Lifecycle management and CPE handling is included in our scope of work – and this is where we see you coming in to strengthen our team with your lifecycle management and CPE testing experience.
Your role
You will play a key role in developing and maintaining services, ensuring lifecycle management of hardware, and supporting operations with troubleshooting and secure auto-provisioning together with the OSS team. You will work closely with Technical Product Management to transform business needs into technical requirements, while collaborating with CPE vendors and stakeholders to secure best-in-class solutions.
- Drive CPE testing, including QoS, forwarding, and customer-tailored solutions
- Manage the lifecycle of hardware, including decommissioning and replacement
- Develop and implement technical service solutions in collaboration with vendors
- Define requirements for OSS stacks and ensure correct network configuration templates for auto-provisioning in cooperation with the OSS team
- Support with troubleshooting and error reporting, ensuring smooth vendor cooperation
- Keep up to date with security standards and handle potential vulnerabilities
- Educate stakeholders and provide documentation for new features
We work as a team and share workload; hence we seek a candidate with an open mindset to learn and contribute to other domains than their own such as sync and / or optical transport network.
Your experiences | background
- Solid understanding of routing protocols and redundant setups.
- Experience with test management and CPE/service validation.
- Knowledge of IP/MPLS technologies and sync or optical transport network tasks.
- Preferably CCNP certification or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to obtain a Danish Security Clearance
- Ability to work from our Norlys office in Århus or Copenhagen several days per week
- Fluent in English, written and spoken. Danish is an advantage
