Be a part of an ambitious strategic journey

You will join as a senior member of our Strategy function, reporting directly to the Senior Director of Strategy. In this role, you will work in close partnership with the Senior Vice President of Telco as the strategic right hand and sparring partner. As a member of the Telco leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping long-term priorities while driving short-term execution.

In addition to this position as Strategy Partner, the Strategy function consists of three other Strategy Partners, each representing their respective business area Energy, CCO and Digitalization & Technology. Strategy also includes a Corporate Strategy team and Executive Office, with which you will collaborate closely.

Anchor our strategic roadmap

As Strategy Partner, you will anchor the telco roadmap and ensure the successful translation of our One27 strategy into impactful execution. Your work will span both long-term strategic bets for our telco business and short-term priorities to strengthen our performance.

In this role, you will take responsibility for shaping our strategic direction, identifying opportunities, and solving key business challenges while ensuring strong execution throughout our transformation journey within telco. You will lead the strategy agenda for our telco business, covering commercial product offerings, network infrastructure, and the integration of the former Telia and Norlys operations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Own and drive the overall telco strategy, including strategic roadmap, cross-cutting priorities and transformation activities.
• Deliver high-quality strategic support to the SVP of Telco and Telco leadership team.
• Solve complex strategic challenges through structured analysis and actionable recommendations. 
• Identify and drive initiatives related to growth, margin improvement, and customer experience. 
• Shape the future design and evolution of our network and infrastructure, including topics such as 5G monetization, differentiated connectivity, automation, slicing, and security. 
• Act as an informed sparring partner to network architects, ensuring our strategic direction is rooted in technical possibilities and constraints. 
• Collaborate with the Strategy team and other Strategy Partners to ensure alignment across Norlys. 
• Support M&A-related strategy activities and the integration of Telia/Norlys telco. 
• Track strategic progress and performance in collaboration with finance and business leads. 

Combine Telco expertise with strong stakeholder management skills

We expect you to have strong stakeholder management skills, solid business acumen, and informal leadership capabilities. You thrive in complex, fast-paced environments and know how to balance structure with a holistic perspective. Your ability to turn insights and data into actionable strategic recommendations will be key to your success. You approach tasks with a positive, proactive attitude, consider multiple perspectives, and deliver high-quality results independently.

Furthermore, we look for:

• Master’s degree in business, economics, engineering, or a related field.
• Experience from management consulting or corporate strategy — preferably with hands-on strategy work within telecom operators or network equipment vendors.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with high business acumen.
• Ability to structure complex issues and deliver clear, compelling recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills and executive presence, capable of bridging technical and commercial stakeholders.
• Collaborative and proactive mindset — thrives in cross-functional teams.
• Understanding telecom network technologies (e.g., 5G monetization models, fiber and coax infrastructure, network slicing, IoT connectivity, security, and automation).
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written (Danish is an advantage).
